To the Editor:
The American Alliance for Medical Cannabis urges Oregonians to vote Yes on
Measure 33. Medical "pot" is not a "fraud".
Here is the link to the Statesman Journal version of the story:
Drug czar John Walters underestimates the intelligence of Oregon
voters. There is a difference between using marijuana for fun, and using
cannabis to treat the pain caused by illness. Creating non-profit
dispensaries to supply medicine to patients registered with the Oregon
Medical Marijuana Program will enable patients who can't grow their own
plants to buy quality controlled medicine.
Recreational users will not be able to buy marijuana at dispensaries, and
patients won't have to buy marijuana from drug dealers.
